This
series commenced at 000-MAA, however, this plate
was reserved by ICBC for marketing and promotional
purposes. Consequently, the first issued plate was
001-MAA. Approximately 154,515 sets of Passenger plates were sold between 2007 and 2010.
This
series commenced at AA-0000, and comprised plates
up to AK-9999 (although it is not expected that
all of this stock will be issued prior to the completion
of the program in 2010). Approximately 35,931 sets of Truck plates were sold between 2007 and 2010.
This
series commenced at G9-0000, and after the first
year of issuance, it is understood that only a couple
of hundred plates were potentially on the road. Approximately 86 sets of Farm Truck plates were sold between 2007 and 2010.
The
Trailer Series:
This series
commenced at 0000-0U. Approximately 227 sets of Commercial Trailer plates were sold between 2007 and 2010.
The
Motorcycle Series:
This series
commenced at V2-0000. Approximately 4,989 sets of Motorcycle plates were sold between 2007 and 2010.
This
series commenced at UYM-00A, and is thought to be
the rarest of the Olympic base plate types. Approximately 227 sets of Utility Trailer plates were sold between 2007 and 2010.
