It seems that
a certain mania struck issuing authorities right across
Canada between 2002 and 2005, prompting them to release
special license plates commorating the contribution of
our Veterans. Jurisidictions that have never even issued
alternate bases, beyond the rather standard "personalized"
plates that use the standard passenger base, have introduced
these Veterans plates (i.e. Saskatchewan). Is this a watershed
event? Will we soon be a country of "Virgina's"
with hundreds and hundreds of different specialty plates
to choose from? Only time will tell.
