1951

Although stylistically very similar to the plates issued from 1931, the 1951 plate is different in one important respect, and that is it displays an amended date that reflected the end of the registration year on March 31, 1952.

All previous Yukon licence plates had displayed the calendar year for which the plate was valid - such as 1950 the year before. As a result, there is no dated 1951 Yukon licence plate.
